Ellery Kuhlman, Receptionist
Ellery is one of our receptionists and has been a part of the dog world for seven years. She has a wide variety of work experience, which helps provide great experiences for our human clients, but her specialty is interacting with our “spicier” (as some would call them) canine clients.

Ellery is also a business partner at The Pet Athletic Club downtown, which offers daycare, boarding, and, most importantly, training services for dogs. They specialize in pups with aggression issues and offer training in everything from basic obedience to personal protection dogs. She has attended multiple conferences focused on boarding and training to learn about behavior issues, basic first aid for pups, and much more. Ellery also has a background in veterinary medicine, with three years of experience as a receptionist at another local veterinary office in Cincinnati. She is always eager to learn as much as she can to provide the best care for pets while they are with us, as well as for the pups she cares for at her own business.

When she isn’t working, you can usually find her sitting in the sun with her senior pup, Mia, reading fantasy novels or murder mysteries — like the one she is named after. She also enjoys trying local vegetarian restaurants and supporting other small businesses.
